Going to Iraq
BY Order of the US Government, more than 70 master electricians are being recruited for deployment to Iraq (this writer, being one of the lucky) have the arduous task of inspecting the hazardous electrical conditions that have been directly responsible for many injuries and some deaths to our troops in Iraq. While many countries and individuals that construct electrical infrastructure, it is not realized during the taking of shortcuts that what they do - can and will affect those that come into contact with energized wiring. It is for these reasons that it is so important to know your job and follow a standard as the National Electrical Codes and the NFPA 70E for electrical safty in the workplace.
